Danielle was born and raised in Versailles, France, near the Palace grounds of Louis XIV.
As a child she played in the royal gardens and wandered the many rooms of the Palace.
It was here she developed her love of art as she admired the many sculptures adorning the garden paths and
paintings within the Palace.
As a young adult she studied art in France, England and the United States as well as added to her life
experience by touring other countries, each with its own unique artistic heritage.
In the U.S. she studied at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and the prestigious Pennsylvania Academy
of Fine Arts, also in Philadelphia, where she graduated with a major in painting.
Her work is in private collections throughout Europe and the United States.

Visited numerous European and American Museums to study
Gauguin’s paintings, monotypes and sculptures.
Brittany, France.
Studied the Breton people’s culture and legends during yearly visit.
Sketched and painted the landscapes in Gauguin’s Pont-Aven.
Tahiti and the Marquesas Islands:
Spent three month in the Marquesas Islands (Hiva-Oa, Fatu-Hiva) and Tahiti
to comprehend more deeply Gauguin’s fascination with the Maori People,
their legends and their idols.
Photographed the people.
Sketched and painted landscapes during my stay.
